1. Overview

Percentage Calculator (“the App”) is a free utility app published by GrizPlay (“we”, “our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This app does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

The App does not ask you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.

2.2 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using Android’s local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us:

You can delete all locally stored calculation history at any time via Settings → Clear History inside the App.

2.3 Information Collected by Third Parties (Advertising)

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (a service of Google LLC). AdMob may automatically collect certain information from your device to serve relevant ads, including:

Advertising ID (GAID): A resettable, non-permanent device identifier used for interest-based advertising.
Device information: Device model, OS version, language, time zone, and screen resolution.
Interaction data: Whether an ad was shown, clicked, or dismissed.
IP address: Used to determine approximate geographic region for ad targeting and fraud prevention.
Coarse location: Derived from IP address only; the App does not request GPS or precise location permission.

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. We do not have access to this raw data.

3. How We Use Information

We do not collect personal data directly. The locally stored preferences and history are used solely to provide app functionality — nothing is sent to our servers.

AdMob uses collected data to:

Display relevant advertisements
Measure ad performance
Detect and prevent fraudulent clicks
Comply with legal obligations

Going to your Android device Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 13+)
Or Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (Android 12 and below)

5. Permissions Requested

The App requests the following Android permissions:

`POST_NOTIFICATIONS` (Android 13+ only)	Required to show optional re-engagement reminder notifications. The App asks for permission before scheduling any notification; you can decline or revoke this at any time in device Settings.
`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`	Used to reschedule any pending notification reminders after a device restart, so they are not silently lost
`READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (maxSdkVersion 32)	Legacy permission auto-included by the React Native build system for Android 12 and below; not used by the App
`WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (maxSdkVersion 32)	Legacy permission auto-included by the React Native build system for Android 12 and below; not used by the App

The App does not request access to:

Camera or microphone
Contacts or call logs
Precise or coarse GPS location
SMS or phone state
Biometrics or device sensors beyond vibration

We do not retain any data on our servers because we do not collect any.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App does not target or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App is rated for general audiences.

AdMob is configured without child-directed treatment flags; if you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used this App, please contact us at grizplayapp@gmail.com and we will assist you.

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable regional laws.

8. Data Security

All calculation data and preferences are stored locally on your device and are protected by Android’s standard app sandboxing. We do not transmit this data externally, so there is no risk of a server-side breach of your calculation history or preferences.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except:

Google AdMob: As described in Section 4, AdMob collects device and advertising data directly per their own policy.
Legal compliance: If required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

Access: Request a copy of data held about you
Deletion: Request deletion of data (for locally stored data, you can do this directly via Settings → Clear History or by uninstalling the App)
Opt-out of targeted ads: Via Android device ad settings (see Section 4)
GDPR (EU users): Right of access, rectification, erasure, and objection
CCPA (California users): Right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale (we do not sell data)
